LincsPCA Person-centred Counselling & Psychotherapy
I hold a Professional Diploma in Person Centred Counselling.
To support trauma work I qualified in Rewind Therapy and have more recemntly trained in the Flash technique to support this work.
I have completed studies into Online and Telephone Counselling, as well as a CPCAB Walk & Talk qualification.
I trained with Prof. Dryden in Single Session Therapy. This I furthered by studying a qualification in Effective Brief Therapy with The Human Givens Institute.
I complete annual CPD in order to support an organisation as a counsellor within proven Employee Assistance programs.
As an accredited member of The National Counselling Society, I am required to remain up to date in psychotherapeutic developments and to constantly enhance my professional knowledge.
I have recently completed updating my understanding around domestic violence legislation and supporting families of terminally ill clients.
Clinical experience
In addition to my own practice, I continue to support St Barnabas in both paid and voluntary counsellor roles. I value this work and the opportunities to help others it provides.
I also work with clients referred through Employee Assistance Programs.
